BlackWolf Artistry is a Toronto-based independent production company both co-founded and serving creative directors, Valerie Cheng and Trey Walsh. They are both graduates of George Brown College, Video Design and Production program in 2019.

Built on a shared vision of collaborative storytelling, BlackWolf Artistry combines videography, photography, and post-production to create cinematic content across scripted narratives, music videos, corporate projects, social media campaigns, and live events.

​

While working under the same brand, Valerie and Trey each bring their own creative approach — Valerie’s work often focuses on movement-driven visuals, including circus and performance, while Trey’s work leans more toward cinematic composition and narrative storytelling.

 

Over the years, BlackWolf Artistry has gained international recognition, including being named a Finalist at the International Music Video Awards (2021) and the Munich Music Video Awards (2021) for Bad Egg by Zoë Starra, as well as Achilles’ Heel by Zoë Starra.

Today, BlackWolf Artistry continues to collaborate with independent artists, creatives, and small businesses, delivering visually driven, story-focused media that brings each client’s vision to life.
